Business Services offers to its transcription clients a HIPAA-compliant
connection to our own internal secure FTP server to upload their digital
voice files and to access their completed transcripts.
Clients may access the HBS Secure FTP server using FTP client software or by accessing it directly through their Internet Explorer connection. For those who choose to use FTP client software, please use ftp.hbstypes.com as the URL to connect to our server. You will need to enter your username and password (both case sensitive). If you have forgotten your username and password, please contact our office at (804) 798-TYPE.
To access our server through your Internet Explorer connection, you will need to open Internet Explorer and enter the following address: ftp://ftp.hbstypes.com. When the FTP root page loads, follow the on-screen instructions to view the FTP site in Windows Explorer. This will allow you to use drag-and-drop technology to upload and download your files. You will then be greeted with the following log-on window:
Enter your username and password (both are case sensitive) and click the Log On button. If you have forgotten your username and password, please contact our office at (804) 798-TYPE.
